We create contemporary and timeless spaces and work closely with architects and developers to ensure cohesion between internal innovative designs and the external architectural aesthetic. OUR PHILOSOPHY:

We are passionate about design.

We love the scale and symmetry of classical architecture and its intricate details. We enjoy the stories behind historic buildings and structures.

We affectionate the simplicity and clean lines of modern spaces. We are inspired by the juxtaposition of two contrasting design elements like hard & soft materials; cold & warm color schemes and geometric & organic patterns. We want to strike a balance between these opposing forces and bring harmony to the interior space.

We celebrate and make visible the natural characteristics of materials by applying minimalistic design details and elegant compositions.

We strive to create a feeling of modern, fresh, and sophisticated urban living!

OUR TEAM:

Lincoln Chan
Principal

Lincoln Chan has more than two decades of interior design experience, locally and internationally. Prior to founding Changalli, Lincoln was a design associate at Eve Robinson Associates for 12 years. He worked on many high-end residential properties in the New York City and Connecticut area as well as commercial projects include renovations of existing apartment buildings and new construction of condominiums. He collaborates with architects and developers across Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Lincoln holds a Diploma in Design and earned a Bachelor Degree of Art in Interior Design from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to graduation, he won a travel scholarship to Europe and interned at the British architectural firm BDG McCall in London. He subsequently joined the Australian Architectural firm Woods Bagot prior to continuing his career in the US.

While in Hong Kong, Lincoln had experience working at projects for several developers such as Cheung Kong Holdings & Hong Kong Lands and collaboration with Richards Basmajian firm for the Cathay Pacific Airway First and Business Class Lounge in Chek Lap Kok International Airport.

James Galli
Partner

James Galli is has been a seasoned financial services executive for over 30 years. He has held a variety of senior corporate posts in the US and overseas. James has been a featured speaker at many industries and client conferences. In addition to his professional career, he has always been drawn to the architecture and interior design world. He was excited to become a partner of the firm and has been contributing his experiences from the business world to the company. He engages in an active advisory role for the firm's business development & marketing activities.

With his love of historic architecture, James has restored a vintage brick row house in the Washington DC area and a historic colonial country home in Connecticut.

Morgan Robinson
3D Visualizer

Morgan Robinson has been instrumental in the development and detailing of computer 3D virtual spaces since he joined the firm in 2018. With his innate computer skills and a strong sense of three-dimensional space, Morgan supports all facets of the design process. He creatively pivots and implements design concepts between 3D programs and 2D AutoCAD drawings from the early conceptual period through to the final documentation and drafting stage. Morgan attended the New England Institute of Technology and served in the US Marines as a computer technician for four years prior to joining Changalli.

In his off time, he enjoys reading Science Fiction and MMO gaming.
